Pulvis viridis carburi silicii est materia abrasiva summae qualitatis quae ad varia usus, ut polituram et saburrationem, adhibetur. Notus est propter excellentem duritiam, facultatem secandi admirabilem, et firmitatem superiorem. Carburum silicii viride producitur calefaciendo mixturam arenae siliceae et carbonii ad altas temperaturas in furno electrico. Resultatum est materia crystallina colore viridi pulchro.
